Christmas gift ideas? I have to make a gift this year?
This year for christmas my mother decided the theme this year should be that all us siblings (10+girl/boyfriends) make the presents we give. We are all short on money (part of the reason for making gifts) but I have a strong willpower and can get a lot accomplished in the 9 days left.
I am also trying to help two of my brothers come up with something to make. So I’ll describe the giftees’ personalities quickly:
(1)+Parents who love cooking, roosters, african stuff and a little booze (combo gift?)
(2)+A 30 something who loves the outdoors, his hair/beard and “being off-the-grid”
(3)+Another 30 something guy who loves electronics, organization, frogs and is easily amused
(4)+A 20 something girl who likes parties, wacky things, tennis and is really sweet
Coming up with ideas is really hard but making them is really fun so think off the wall if you like. Thanks in advance you beautiful people.
1. Make them a homemade cookbook – print out recipes over the internet and put on colorful paper, then bind together =]
2. You could make him a hiking stick if you are skilled with wood, just take a big branch and carve it til its nice and neat, then polish it =]
3. Print off a bunch of funny jokes, pictures and stories over the internet, and make a “book” out of it. Just put them on colored paper and also bind together.
4. Make some cookies with cute decorations!
