Where can I get a ceramic plate made with paper glazed inside?
The idea is that people write something on a piece of paper and I can have those papers glazed onto either a ceramic wall hanging or something similar…
you cannot glaze paper onto ceramic. When a glaze is fired the temps are way too high for the paper. You can screenprint onto clay if you use the correct pigments. There are lots of companies which print any picture on a mug of plate. the easiest might be to get just the ceramic transfer printed and you can fire it on yourself. If you google digital ceramic decals you’ll find lots of places.
It does not sound essential for your project that the wall hanging is ceramics. Just make a collage out of paper. If you want to add interest you can also use encaustic.
