Brinkman electric smoker wood info please?!?
I just got a GREAT deal on the Brinkman red electric smoker. I need to know with the low temps at which this thing runs do i need to pre-soak the wood chunks before popping into the smoker or do the dry chunks just smolder? I wanna try for the first time in the mornning. Thanks!
Cook at 225 soaked chips tend to not flair up, try cooking a pork roast like a Boston butt with a rub. Make sure you use hard wood chips and realize its an all day deal, wrap your meat in foil after a few hours of smoke. Avoid checking on it but monitor the temperature.
